I HAVE A MACULAR PUCKER. What is it?
This is a scar tissue located at the center of your fileld of vision It is a form of epiretinal membrane.This also causes blurred and distorted vision. It is similar to an epiretinal membrane with the epicentre right at the centre of your vision (fove).
How to use an Amsler grid:
- Hold the gridat a comfortable reading distance about. Wear your reading glasses if you normally use them.
- Cover one eye and focus on the black dot in the middle of the grid.
- Cover the other eye and repeat the test.
